Summary

On the 2nd anniversary of Mexico’s independence, XOCHI - Native/Mexican mix (30s) had the start of a beautiful life before it was all stripped from her. After watching her family and friends be murdered by a pack of raiders, she is shot and left for dead. However, the anger and rage she feels keeps her alive.

A week later, she awakes to find herself in the care of the Kiowa tribe with the only other survivor of the massacre, her nanny and closest confidant, ISABELA – Mexican (20s). With their shared knowledge of the incident, along with information the Kiowa have given them, they make a connection. Their massacre isn’t the first. It was one of many that has occurred over the past few weeks. With no sign of the raids stopping, the widows set out across the open plains, on a mission of revenge and justice, for which it reveals the new plan for the Mexican plains: the Republic of Texas.
